Specialist Certificate

The Specialist Certificate is designed for professionals who can only afford the time for short bursts of academic activity.  However, the Specialist Certificate entry requirements reflect the fact that people studying for this award are likely to be experienced in the area of the Certificate or in a related field of study and want to broaden or update their existing skills.

This award is suitable for those studying for higher degrees such as doctorates and also for subject credits into higher degrees being undertaken elsewhere, as many of the Specialist Certificates available are led by leading educators and researchers in their respective fields.

This award was created for professionals who want to study in a specific area only and do not want to enroll in more substantial postgraduate training. Offered by educators and researchers working at the leading edge in their respective fields, this award requires completion of 25 points of related subjects at Masters level.
