Course Introduction

The University of Melbourne Consulting & Custom Programs is pleased to offer a Public Private Partnerships Professional Development Class presented by leading specialists in the public and private sectors.
 

Course Objectives

This two day program is designed to give you an understanding of how to gain value for money when procuring service outcomes through the involvement of the public and private sectors. The program will develop a good understanding of Public Private Partnerships; what they are, how they work and the Partnerships Victoria policy framework. A case study based approach that reflects extensive transactional experience in both the public and private sectors.

Entry Requirements

People currently involved in all aspects of bidding for, planning and delivering Partnerships Victoria projects, or those who expect to be involved with such a project in the future.

 

Course Fee

$1800 plus GST

 

Course Structure

Day One

Provides relevant information on the processes that lead to a government commitment to undertake a Partnerships Victoria project.  Public sector participants will gain insight into evaluating options, identifying potential to add value, resourcing a project, and preparing a submission for government approval and funding.  Private sector participants will gain familiarisation with the planning processes and principles important to government.

Day Two


Explains the practices and provides a good understanding of the process that is necessary for the development and delivery of a Partnerships Victoria project, including assisting private parties to plan and research a bid. This enhances the skills necessary for the development and delivery of a Partnerships Victoria project.
